THE PERMANENT COURT OF ARBITRATION ATTACHED TO THE
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF SLOVENIA
AND
THE KUALA LUMPUR REGIONAL CENTRE FOR ARBITRATION

Being convinced that the widwr use of commercial arbitration for settlement of disputes through fair, inexpensive and expeditious procedures would lends confidence and stability to international trade and economic transactions between parties in Slovenia and the countries in the Asian-African region, the Permanent Arbitration Court attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Slovenia (referred to as " P.C.A. Slovenia") and the Kuala Lampur Regional Centre for Arbitration (referred to as the "K.L.R.C.A.") have agreed as follows:

1. The P.C.A. Slovenia and the K.L.R.C.A. shall co-operate in popularising the institution of arbitration as a means of settling disputes arising out of international economic and commercial transactions and for thatpurpose may undertake the organisation of seminars, conferences and educational programmes whenever appropriate.

2. The P.C.A. Slovenia and the K.L.R.C.A. shall endeavour to promote the wider use of the facilities for arbitration under the rules or the auspices of their respective institutions.

3. The P.C.A. Slovenia and the K.L.R.C.A. shall provide each other, upon request, facilities, including administrative services, for recording of evidence or taking of any other step in the arbitration proceedings under their auspices. Such expenses as are incurred for the purpose shall be reimbursed by the institution requesting the facilities.

4. The P.C.A Slovenia and the K.L.R.C.A. shall exchange information, publiciations, material or data of mutual intrest as may be available to them in relation to trade and commerce in the field of commercial arbitration and recive visits from duly appointed representatives of each institution for the purpose.

In witness whereof, the authorised representatives of Permanent Court of Arbitraton and the Kuala Regional Centre, have appended their signatures on this agreement.
